... clogs

Clogs, at first, aren't the most beautiful pair of shoes to me.  But after awhile, they grew on me.  In 2010, I was very obsessed with Jeffrey Campbell's line of clogs.  I bought one pair in black, but then bought a sister look alike pair from Steve Madden.

Now my obsession has now returned 3 years later, but now I'm more into sandal clogs with low heels. Paired with a nice dress, skirt, or shorts, you can make most of these beautiful shoes for the rest of the summer.  Now I'm contemplating on getting a pair myself. ;)

... Carol

If there was one shoe that was the "hit of the summer" literally, it would be Isabel Marant's Carol studded sandal.  Everyone from Aimee Song of Song of Style to Leandra Medine of Man Repeller to Tuula Vintage to Sincerely Jules has worn these beloved sandals this summer.

I can't help but be mesmerized by them.  And at a hefty price tag at just over $1000 (which later went on 'sale' to over $500 on Net-A-Porter .. now sold out), I'll admire them from afar.  One can only wish right?

However, if you want to get a similar looking pair at a smaller price tag, there's Jeffrey Campbell x Free People's Maud sandal.  This beaut sells at $198 on Free People's website.

... hello my pretties

Thank you Poshmark for these lovely additions to my shoe closet. Say hello to the Prabal Gurung x Target Nolita pumps, which is completely sold out (obv via Target) but available on eBay and Poshmark, of course.

Can't wait to use these!  I know my feet will be dying in agony, but I know that it's worth the pain.

... it's coming

The much anticipated Phillip Lim 3.1 collaboration collection with Target is coming soon in just a few days over a month.  Many fashionistas across the nation are gearing up to buy pieces from what people say will be the second biggest collaboration with Target after Missoni's collection from a few years ago.

In my honest opinion, I think this is the first collection that I was super excited about since Missoni.  Prabal Gurung's collection was exciting, but items sold very quickly and I couldn't unfortunately pick a piece from his Target collection.  The Neiman Marcus collection was exciting at first, but I could safely say that I was only excited about maybe 3 pieces (the white Marchesa dress, Proenza Schouler sweatshirt, & the Tracy Reese blue sequins shirt).  I was able to snag the Proenza Schouler sweatshirt at 70% off.

The pieces I'm most excited about is Phillip's handbags, particularly the budget versions of his infamous Pashli bags.

... H&M

As everyone now knows, H&M's e-commerce site has gone live as of early August.

Ever since becoming a fan of this international giant, I always wondered why they never had a website for it's fans/customers to shop on.  It still baffles me, but as long as it's now an option to buy online rather than trekking to my local mall, that's all that matters.

I know that every store has a different demographic to cater to, but I find that the H&M store at one of my local mall sells different inventory from another local H&M store literally less than 5 miles down the highway.  I guess distance between shops matter in terms of what items are on the rack?

Nevertheless, I think that it's great that I can now shop for clothing items online that are in NY stores but not in NJ stores.  Right now, I know these items are definitely not in any of the NJ stores, but I'm so happy that they're online and available for purchase.
