... five

I'm playing a bit of catch up today on my March inspiration series.

This weekend dear hubs, baby C, and I went down to Maryland to visit hubs's brother who was in the area for a business trip.  We were staying about 1.5 hours away from DC, but we still made the trek there because there wasn't much to do in the area.  Plus it gave us the chance to visit one of our favorite cities in the US.

This officially was baby C's first long road trip (longer than 1 hour), and it was a fun trip.  We got to see Lincoln Memorial, the Korean War Memorial, Vietnam Memorial, Washington Monument, the White House, and Georgetown.  It was a power packed 2 day, 1 night trip.

This picture reminds me of the cherry blossoms that are scheduled to bloom in Washington DC at the end of March until end of April.  That's one thing that I haven't been able to see, but would love to see in the future.  Just love the simplicity and beauty of nature during springtime.
